Position : Coordinator - IT Projects

Location : Bangalore

Summary:

Project Coordinator – IT Applications position will be responsible for overseeing projects for Blackbox’s IT department. The Assistant Manager / Coordinator, application in conjunction with Program / project Coordinator will manage and support ERP like Oracle Fusion, HCM Applications, SAP Callidus, Happay (Expense module) and a few other applications.



Essential Functions:

  • Interface with the VP & Head - IT to provide strategic and tactical advice on project, program, and portfolio planning and execution.
  • Project Coordinator IT Application directs all activities and develops policies and procedures related to the design, analysis, testing, coding, and implementation of applications.
  • Enhances operations by establishing metrics, analyzing processes, and implementing standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Being an Project Coordinator oversees review of development proposals, projects, timelines, resources, and costs.
  • Execute feedback processes for peer reviews, code reviews, and design reviews.
  • Project Coordinator Application establishes a performance culture by incorporating individual and team coaching and mentoring to achieve excellence.

Project Coordinator IT Application budgets, vendor relationships and onsite/ off-shore resources

Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.

  • Travel required based on business demands


Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Engineering / B.Tech/ M.Tech Degree.

Experience Requirements:

  • 6 - 12 years of experience in handling IT applications
  • Experience in managing Oracle Fusion, HCM Applications, Oracle FCCS, Expense Management, Database Management, Integration Experience, experience in reporting tool such as Power BI


Key Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration & supporting enterprise applications
  • Provides technical expertise, to include addressing and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Responsible for managing IT Application Project Coordinator Teams.
  • Passion for designing and building highly available distributed web scale systems
  • Ability to learn and grasps concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Should be able to understand customer requirements and create technical documents such as BRD, Technical design document, Test Cases, System manuals, Training guides.
  • Keep abreast with new technologies / technology upgrades and conduct periodic trainings to technical team.
  • Proficient in Oracle Fusion/ HCM Applications with Different Modules and related cloud based technology systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Project plan), Outlook, SharePoint.
  • This job interacts with executive leadership and others concerning matters of significance to the organization, and makes decisions that have a considerable impact on the overall success or failure of their area of accountability.
  • Developing IT application strategies and effective integration of these strategies to meet organization-wide business needs.
  • Represents the organization when selecting IT hardware and software vendors to ensure organization IT needs are met according to cost, performance, delivery, quality, and service standards.
  • Ensures organization-wide IT quality assurance and audits to ensure compliance with defined standards. Directs, motivates, develops and manages the performance of the IT Applications management team and key staff.
  • Should be developing Weekly / Bi-weekly /Monthly review of all IT Applications with Leadership.
