Job Description: Management Trainee - Sales


The Management Trainee - Sales is a dynamic entry-level position designed to provide comprehensive training and exposure to various aspects of the sales function. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop a career in sales. The Management Trainee will undergo a structured training program, gaining hands-on experience in sales processes, client interactions, and team collaboration.


What you will be doing:

  • Utilize company profile database to determine geographic areas for travel agent calls while maintaining top and existing travel agent accounts.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and professional conduct.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance overall team performance.
  • Take initiative in continuous learning and self-improvement in sales skills and industry knowledge.
  • Creating a focus on attracting new business – corporate and travel
  • Develop and send informative press releases to targeted lists highlighting all activities and promotions.
  • Follow and promote hotel standards with guests and co-workers.
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).


Your experience and skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales/hotel management or related field is preferred
  • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively.
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Someone who is comfortable with travelling when required.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales-oriented role.
