Network Infrastructure Manager

We are looking for a Network Infrastructure Manager to oversee our client’s network operations — ensuring setup, maintenance, reliability, and performance optimization to support high-speed trading activities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage the firm’s network infrastructure to deliver high availability, low latency, and strong security.Collaborate with trading, systems, and development teams to meet the stringent demands of algorithmic trading and maintain seamless exchange connectivity.Design and deploy network infrastructure in colocation environments for low-latency exchange connections.Architect and maintain inter- and intra–data center network infrastructure.Develop scalable and resilient network architectures to support business growth.Optimize network performance across LAN, WAN, and data center environments.Oversee daily network operations to ensure 24/7 availability and minimal downtime.Manage network hardware, including switches, routers, and firewalls, across multiple data centers.Lead incident response for network issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing preventive solutions.Build and maintain real-time monitoring and performance analysis tools.Fine-tune configurations to minimize packet loss, latency, and jitter, and maximize throughput.Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability.Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.Partner with compliance teams to maintain regulatory adherence.Implement best practices to secure sensitive trading data and infrastructure.Work closely with trading, development, and systems teams to align network design with trading strategies.Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configurations, and incident resolutions.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.Experience with colocation data centers and exchange connectivity.Proven background in low-latency network infrastructure, ideally within the financial industry.Deep understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Multicast).Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, and Juniper network equipment.Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios).Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure).Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring a network operations team.
