Position: WordPress & Shopify Developer

Location: Banaswadi, Bangalore (ON SITE ONLY)

Experience Required: 3+ years in web development

Employment Type: Full-time


Responsibilities:


Website Development & Maintenance:

  • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites.
  • Customize themes, plugins, and modules to meet specific client requirements.
  • Ensure websites are optimized for performance, speed, and SEO.


E-commerce Development:

  • Set up Shopify stores, configure payment gateways, and manage integrations.
  • Customize Shopify themes and apps to create a seamless e-commerce experience.
  • Manage and troubleshoot product catalogs, inventory, and store functionalities.


Server & Hosting Management:

  • Configure and maintain hosting environments (cPanel, Plesk, AWS, etc.).
  • Ensure optimal server performance, security, and backups.
  • Troubleshoot hosting-related issues and ensure website uptime.


Technical Expertise:

  • Perform website migrations, DNS setup, and SSL certificate installations.
  • Debug and resolve website issues, including server-side problems.
  • Monitor and implement security measures to protect websites from threats.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure websites align with business goals.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients or internal teams when required.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress development (themes, plugins, Gutenberg editor).
  • Experience with Shopify Liquid programming and app integrations.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Familiarity with MySQL databases and web servers (Apache, Nginx).
  • Experience with hosting platforms like Bluehost, SiteGround, AWS, or DigitalOcean.
  • Ability to troubleshoot server, hosting, and DNS-related issues.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and website performance optimization.
  • Understanding of e-commerce UX/UI best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with WooCommerce and other e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar.
