We have an immediate opening for SmartCOMM/ Thunderhead Production support-Bangalore.


Minimum 3 – 7 years of SmartCOMM/thunderhead experience

• A sound knowledge of Derivative products like Options, EQ Swaps, Variance, Dividend etc.


Responsibilities

  • Level 1, Level 2 Support for Production Applications.
  • the stability of production environments, ensuring maximum availability of applications and all associated interfaces.
  • in close collaboration with internal technical teams and business users to investigate, test, and implement application fixes.
  • prescribed escalation procedures during outages.
  • communication and coordination among cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure, DBA and Cloud Teams to resolve complex issues and outages.
  • accurate and timely incident and problem logs.
  • incidents and provide regular updates to users regarding request status and progress.
  • Root Cause Analysis and generate regular reports to identify areas for potential improvement.
  • and maintain a knowledge base for the known issues and business processes.
  • scripts and propose automation solutions to enhance support team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • User Acceptance and Interface testing with various upstream and downstream systems.
  • participate in and manage Disaster Recovery tests.
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills and perform structured impact analysis.
  • a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • production tickets and guide team members in analyzing and resolving tickets

Develop an end-to-end understanding of the production landscape to be able to resolve tickets in a timely manner

Monitor the overall production processes such as daily checks, open tickets and aging of issues

Drive the meetings with stakeholders on production tickets through weekly governance calls

Collaborate with Feature team and ensure seamless transition from development to production

Focus on Continuous improvement – process, response, and resolution time for tickets

Identify and Build various KPI’s for production metrics to be used in the steering committee with Business Stake Holders

Good understanding of ITRM topics and experience in creating strategies by collaborating with Internal & external Stake Holders to take the topics to closure

Build strong relationship with the global team across multiple geographies

  • and implement governance for reporting to senior management on production tickets and other related metrics
  • the U/s and D/s feeds and Autosys batches
  • the team members with a good co-ordination with other support teams across the zone


Profile Required

A minimum of 4+ years of experience in Application Support.

  • understanding of ITIL libraries and ITSM processes.
  • with log analytics tools like ELK (or similar) and alerting tool GRAFANA.
  • with Unix/Linux and Windows server environments.
  • of RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
  • of messaging systems (RabbitMQ).
  • with Job monitoring tools (Autosys, Airflow).
  • with Git, Jira, Jenkins and Kubernetes.
  • verbal and written communication skills.
  • in Banking Domain.
