Scope of Position
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the revenue potential for Soneva Resorts in the Maldives and Thailand across direct sales, ultra-luxury lifestyle brands and strategic partnerships. You will focus on acquisition of new business, the retention of existing business, in line with company revenue goals. Working with Sales Managers and Country Directors of Sales across the world, you will report to the Country Director of Sales India in the day-to-day operations as well as supporting the team to achieve our targets. This varied and challenging role provides a chance for you to develop your Sales and Hospitality career in one of the world’s leading hospitality companies.

Duties and essential job functions
• Work closely with ultra-luxury lifestyle brands and strategic partnerships as well as develop a strong connection with existing and new HNWI’s for Soneva to drive sales in India through a structured proactive approach and regular content sharing including new offers, Soneva updates and seasonal campaigns
• Devise and implement proactive activities and events to drive brand preference amongst HNWI’s, ultra-luxury lifestyle brands and strategic partnerships
• Develop regular and ultra personalised communications and interactions with HNWI’s and enhance Guests loyalty
• Cooperate with Brand Ambassadors
• Create enticing offers to boost sales and generate revenue across all Soneva resorts
• Proactive and enthusiast sales with clear targets to drive stronger growth in travel trade across India
• Leverage your existing network of HNWI’s to boost Soneva’s awareness in India
• Responsible for issuing promotions, packages, partnerships and internal calculations for all global special offers
• Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
• Attend networking events to acquire new leads
• Prepare company contracts for the resort per current business and pricing conditions
• Work side by side with Sales team to coordinate efficient sales strategies
• Work as a team and assist in any required activity
Qualifications & Experience
• Based in India, ideally Delhi or Mumbai - working remotely from home
• Bachelor degree holder in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or related discipline
• Excellent presentation and proactive communication skill in verbal and written English
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in luxury background, within an ultra-luxury lifestyle brand, private jet company or concierge service
• Existing network of HNWIs and ultra-luxury lifestyle brands
• The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of intelligent luxury
