Dir Analog Engineering

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Dir Analog Engineering to join our MIC Dept in Bangalore Location. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.
Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Analog/Mixed designs at chip and/or block level. Responsible for product success including Yield & silicon customer support
- Define & drive Microarchitecture of full chip design.
- Design, simulate and characterize high-performance and full chip DDR5 high-speed circuits(>8GHz), (e.g. Transmitter, Receiver, LDO, PLL, DLL, PI circuits).
- Create high level models for design tradeoff analysis and behavior model for verification simulations.
- Create floorplan and work with layout team to demonstrate post extraction performance in lower finfet nodes
- Document analysis and simulation to show that design achieves critical electrical, timing parameters and pre-silicon verification flow.
- Engage with Architecture & Post Silicon teams for qualification & high volume ramp
- Manage day-to-day execution including setting priorities and locally resolving conflicts/barriers/technical challenges
- Conduct all staffing activities for the team including recruiting, training, project allocation and performance reviews.
- Manage flex-force resource planning and on-boarding to augment team throughput during periods of peak activity
- Setup high standards. Define and track KPI for team; identify and implement improvements to productivity and engineering methodology
- Instill “on-spec, on-time, on-budget and with high-quality” mindset for delivery of products to customers
- Liaise with other site managers to ensure uniformity in engineering flows and methodologies across the global engineering organization
- Foster a culture of innovation and engineering leadership and excellence in a global marketplace
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on technical skillset and experience in Circuit, Logic design, DFT, Verification, Custom Layout, Physical Implementation, and Silicon Validation.
- Knowledge of high-speed chip to chip interfaces (DRAM, DDR ) is a strong plus.
- Successfully executed multiple Highspeed Mixed signal Designs in advanced technology nodes
- Able to motivate and energize teams and hold teams accountable in a matrixed organization
- Strong communication skills and the ability to keep calm and make progress in high stress situations
- Comfortable making timely decisions based on judgment and available data
- Fluency in English language writing and speaking
- Able to up level complex issues for executive presentation and decision making
- Ability to travel to Rambus sites as well as customer locations as required
