Role Description

Role Description:

As a Technical Lead - Network at Incedo, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining client network infrastructure. Your duties will include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, managing security and access controls, and collaborating with other teams to ensure network availability and reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing network infrastructure for clients.

• Maintaining and troubleshooting network issues.

• Monitoring network performance and ensuring security.

• Implementing network security measures such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

• Providing technical support for network-related issues.

• Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure network integration and functionality.

• Managing network access controls and permissions.

• Maintaining documentation of network configurations and changes.

Technical Skills

Skills Requirements:

• Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols.

• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Nagios, PRTG, or SolarWinds.

• Understanding of network security concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.

• Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

• Must understand the company's long-term vision and align with it.

• Should be open to new ideas and be willing to learn and develop new skills.

• Should also be able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.


SKILLS

  • BGP peering, route advertisement, path attributes, route reflectors, filtering, and redistribution.
  • MPLS: L3VPN, RD-RT, VRF.
  • Routing protocols: Static, default, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, IS-IS.
  • SD-WAN experience with Velo cloud, Viptela.
  • Switching concepts: VLAN, VTP, STP, RSTP, MSTP.
  • First Hop Redundancy Protocols: HSRP, VRRP, GLBP.
  • Networking services: DHCP, DNS, NAT, PAT.
  • o Network Security: Palo Alto Networks
  • o Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Nexus, HP, Dell, and D-link devices.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of work experience in relevant field

• B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
