Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior AI/ML Engineer with experience in building, implementing, and innovating advanced AI models for real-time fraud detection. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on sophisticated machine learning models and take them from conceptualization to deployment within a fast-paced, high-performance environment. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to enhance our core algorithms, optimize model accuracy, and innovate new techniques to stay ahead in the fraud detection landscape.


Key Responsibilities

  • Model Development and Innovation: Design, develop, and optimize advanced AI models, and anomaly detection models, tailored for fraud detection use cases.
  • End-to-End Implementation: Take models from proof of concept to full-scale deployment, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into our high-frequency, low-latency architecture.
  • Real-Time Scoring and Anomaly Detection: Build algorithms that can detect fraud patterns and anomalies in real time, enabling rapid responses to potential threats.
  • Data Engineering for Model Training: Collaborate with data engineers to preprocess, clean, and structure data for model training, ensuring data quality and relevance.
  • Performance Optimization: Tune hyperparameters, optimize model efficiency, and use distributed computing (e.g., PySpark, TensorFlow) for large-scale model processing.
  • Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Implement techniques to allow models to learn and adapt continuously, responding to new fraud patterns and emerging threats.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and data science teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure seamless model integration.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-3 years in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on advanced model development and deployment in real-time or high-performance environments.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Machine Learning Models: Strong experience with models like(GNNs and more)
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python (required), with experience in ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Data Engineering and Processing: Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Apache Spark, PySpark, and data preprocessing techniques for large datasets.
  • Model Deployment and MLOps: Knowledge of deploying models in production using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based tools (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML).
  • Anomaly Detection and Real-Time Processing: Expertise in anomaly detection methods and experience with real-time scoring for large-scale applications.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with fraud detection or financial services data.
  • Familiarity with Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j, TigerGraph) for fraud network analysis.
