Lead Quant Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Quant Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to join our team. This role

involves creating and optimizing trading strategies, particularly for F&O (Futures & Options) in

the Indian market. As a Lead Quant, you will be responsible for developing, backtesting, and

deploying Python-based strategies, while overseeing the infrastructure and managing part of a

7-member quant team within a larger team of 30-40 professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

● Strategy Development: Create, backtest, and deploy trading strategies for F&O

markets, using Python.

● Infrastructure Management: Own and maintain the infrastructure to support quant

operations.

● Team Leadership: Guide and manage a quant team, collaborating closely with other

team members.

● Market Expertise: Focus on F&O strategies within the Indian equity market, providing

insights and direction to the team.

Qualifications:

● Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience, with a focus on F&O markets and Python

programming.

● Technical Skills:

○ Strong proficiency in Python for backtesting and deploying strategies.

○ Experience with F&O in the Indian market is a must.

● Leadership: Prior experience in leading a small quant team is preferred.
