The Role: Manager - Strategic Partnerships

We're looking for a driven and well-networked individual to lead and expand our strategic partnership efforts. This role sits at the intersection of business development, relationship management, and ecosystem building.

You'll work closely with senior leadership and community members to identify, build, and grow relationships with key partners—across asset managers, investment firms, and ecosystem players.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners aligned with Aikya's goals
  • Manage and grow long-term relationships across our ecosystem—funds, firms, and financial institutions
  • Design and execute partnership engagement models tailored to various stakeholders
  • Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements, including managing legal and contractual aspects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate partnerships into community engagement, events, and content
  • Build innovative collaborations that add value to our members and enhance Aikya's platform
  • Own the end-to-end partnership process—from lead generation to final execution

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B partnerships, strategic alliances, or financial services
  • Deep understanding of the financial services and investment ecosystem—especially PMS, AIFs, mutual funds, PE/VC, and alternative assets
  • Proven track record of building, negotiating, and managing partnerships
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Well-networked in the financial services industry with a strong desire to expand it further
  • Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, high-autonomy environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, outcomes-driven mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • Willingness to travel frequently for meetings and events
