Job Responsibilities.


  1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ASP.NET applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze user requirements, and provide technical solutions and recommendations.
  3. Develop, maintain, and enhance ASP.NET applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  4. Perform code reviews and ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase.
  5. Monitor application performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement.
  6. Investigate and resolve production issues, including debugging and root cause analysis.
  7. Collaborate with application development teams to deploy new releases and updates to the production environment.
  8. Maintain documentation related to application configurations, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures.
  9. Work with stakeholders to define and adhere to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) for application support and issue resolution.
  10. Utilize tools such as Jira and Control-M to manage and track support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
  11. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure the smooth functioning of ASP.NET applications on Unix/Linux environments.
  12. Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in ASP.NET development and support.


Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 6 years of experience in supporting and maintaining ASP.NET applications in a production environment.
  3. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ASP.NET, including C# programming, MVC, and Web API.
  4. Proficient in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting and command-line operations.
  5. Experience with ticketing systems like Jira and job scheduling tools like Control-M.
  6. Solid understanding of SLAs and experience in adhering to them.
  7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  9. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
