The ideal candidate should possess a strong grasp of banking operations, including an in-depth knowledge of bank products and policies, particularly those related to lending, credit facilities, and resolving distressed assets. They must also demonstrate expertise in corporate credit, with the ability to structure deals effectively. Familiarity with structured credit products such as DA, PTC, NCD, and Subdebt, including aspects like modeling, regulation, taxation, and documentation, is essential.

Experience in managing loans or structured credit transactions exceeding INR 50 crores for corporate clients, NBFCs, or real estate ventures is required. Additionally, experience in handling distressed assets transactions, one-time settlements, restructuring, or cases under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC) is valued.

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is a must, along with a track record of syndicating debt for BFSI entities, corporates, and attracting new institutional investors. This includes managing the entire transaction process, from identifying potential investors to negotiating and finalizing deals. Selling pools under DA/PTC structures to institutional investors and nurturing relationships with them is also crucial.

The candidate should excel at developing and managing relationships with various investor classes, such as public/private/foreign banks, NBFCs, AIFs, and corporate treasuries, to secure profitable business opportunities. Additionally, they should represent the organization at industry events to enhance brand visibility, assess investor interest in new asset classes, and formulate business strategies accordingly.

Furthermore, the role entails overseeing an execution team responsible for preparing credit appraisal notes, information memorandums, and any other necessary documentation to facilitate successful deal closures.
