Position Overview:

As a Sales Trainer at Brick&Bolt, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and capabilities of our sales team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that cater to the specific needs of our regional operations. This role demands a deep understanding of sales processes within the construction industry, ensuring that our sales staff are equipped with the knowledge and techniques necessary to drive sales and deliver outstanding customer experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Update Training Materials: Develop training materials tailored to regional requirements and sales processes in the construction sector.
  • Conduct Training Programs: Facilitate various training programs including new hire training, refresher courses, and specialized sales workshops.
  • Collaboration with Sales and HR Teams: Work closely with Sales and HR teams to synchronize training calendars and program planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Sales Techniques and Customer Engagement: Train staff on effective sales techniques, customer engagement strategies, and handling customer inquiries and complaints with excellence.
  • Coaching and Development: Provide coaching on up-selling, cross-selling, and conduct performance evaluations to identify skills gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Design assessments in collaboration with product managers and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), and analyze results to measure training effectiveness. Solicit feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs.
  • Skills Gap Analysis: Conduct skills gap analyses through audits, call observations, and assessments to identify training needs and opportunities for skill development.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; specialization in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Training, preferably within the construction industry, although not mandatory.
  • Certification in Training or Learning & Development preferred.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering effective sales training programs.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer engagement strategies, and construction industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt training strategies to meet regional requirements.
