Job Summary:
We are seeking a Finance Executive responsible for overseeing and managing inventory operations within the finance department. The role includes ensuring proper financial control, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with reconciliation, forecasting, and reporting to maintain optimal inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire inventory control process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Reconcile inventory balances with physical stock and maintain records for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams to track inventory movements and control stock levels.
- Analyze inventory costs, variances, and margins to support financial reporting and decision-making.
- Prepare monthly and annual inventory reports, including stock valuation, and present findings to management.
- Ensure inventory accounting complies with company policies and standards.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting inventory requirements based on past trends and future projections.
- Liaise with auditors for inventory-related audits and provide necessary documents and explanations.
- Optimize inventory processes to reduce costs, minimize overstocking or shortages, and improve efficiency.
- Implement and maintain an effective inventory management system in collaboration with IT.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance or inventory management, preferably in the manufacturing or EPC sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles related to inventory management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
