Quidich Innovation Labs is a global company headquartered in Mumbai, India that pioneers in customized technology solutions for Sports Broadcast. From the outset, we have believed in the power of the story that sport tells as a tool to bring people together; and that this story best reaches fans, through the way it is broadcast. Building on this thinking, we have created various technology tools over the past five years and deployed them at tournaments such as the Indian Premier League, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, ICC Women’s World Cup, and Men's FIH Hockey World Cup, to name a few.


Role

As a Product Manager at Quidich, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of computer vision-based object tracking technologies tailored for different sports. You will lead a team of skilled engineers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sports analytics and broadcasting.


Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Defining the strategic vision and roadmap for object tracking technologies for sport (predominantly cricket), keeping abreast of the latest advancements in computer vision and sports analytics. Translating business objectives into actionable plans and aligning the team's efforts towards achieving long-term goals.
  • Product Development: Working closely with the engineering team to conceptualize, design, and implement advanced computer vision algorithms and models for accurate and real-time object tracking during sporting events.
  • Project Management: Planning and managing the development lifecycle of the product. Overseeing project milestones, deadlines, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with the marketing team to develop compelling product messaging and positioning. Collaborating with the business strategy team to support business development efforts and provide technical expertise to potential clients.
  • Quality Assurance: Defining testing and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of tracking data. Monitoring product performance and troubleshooting any issues.
  • User Feedback and Iteration: Gathering feedback from users, coaches, and players to continuously improve the product's usability and functionality. Iterate on the product based on user insights and needs.


Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies


  • 4 Years of proven experience in Product Management with focus on Computer Vision.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with object detection, tracking, and recognition algorithms is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of cricket rules, gameplay, and technicalities to address ball tracking challenges.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Excellent collaborative skills to work effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
