Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Décor/Sales Consultant to join our team, a leading name in interior and exterior decoration solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in making the best product choices for their projects while providing exceptional consultation services. This role requires a keen understanding of design, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive sales approach to ensure an excellent client experience and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation and Sales:

  • Greet and engage walk-in clients to understand their décor and design needs.
  • Provide expert advice on wide range of products, including panels, laminates, wooden flooring, modular kitchens, and home automation solutions.
  • Build customized solutions based on client preferences, project scope, and budget.
  • Drive sales by demonstrating product features and benefits, offering creative design suggestions, and closing deals effectively.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of product range, including premium and innovative offerings.
  • Stay updated on market trends, new product launches, and design solutions to serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure a seamless and satisfying customer journey, from initial inquiry to post-sale follow-up.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming environment in the showroom.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve concerns with prompt and effective solutions.

Sales Operations and Reporting:

  • Track and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales transactions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to execute promotional activities and events to attract more clients.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Sales Expertise: Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets in a retail or showroom environment.
  • Design Sense: Basic understanding of interior design principles and the ability to provide décor suggestions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with an approachable and persuasive manner.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A focus on understanding and meeting client needs with care and precision.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in proposals, measurements, and recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with internal teams, including designers, project managers, and supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in home décor, interior design, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with premium brands and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
