Textile Print CAD Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Textile Print CAD Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile design and expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) tools to develop unique patterns and prints for our product line. You will collaborate closely with the design, production, and marketing teams to create designs that align with our brand and appeal to our target customers.


Key Responsibilities

- Create innovative textile prints and patterns using CAD software, ensuring high-quality and precision.

- Develop and maintain a library of original designs for various collections (fashion, home textiles, etc.).

- Interpret design briefs to create market-relevant prints in alignment with seasonal trends and customer preferences.

- Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.

- Modify and color match existing designs to fit different product lines or fabric types.

- Stay updated on textile trends, print technologies, and new design software features.

- Collaborate with product developers and merchandisers to ensure designs meet brand standards.

- Ensure all CAD designs are accurately documented and stored for future use.

- Manage design revisions and maintain quality standards throughout the design process.


Key Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Textile Print Designer with CAD expertise.

- Proficiency in CAD software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, NedGraphics, or other relevant design tools.

- Strong understanding of textile print techniques and materials.

- Excellent sense of color, pattern, and textile trends.

- Ability to translate creative ideas into practical designs.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- A portfolio showcasing creative print designs is required.


Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in both digital and traditional textile print processes.

- Knowledge of fabric construction and the production process.

- Familiarity with 3D textile design tools is a plus.

- Knowledge of sustainability practices in textile design.
