Role Overview:

This is a full-time on-site role for a 'Manager Accounts' at Medicin Point located in Jabalpur. The 'Manager Accounts' will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with managing financial accounts, including budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis. They will also oversee the accounts payable and receivable process, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide financial advice to senior management.


Key Result Areas (KRAs):

  1. Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations of multiple businesses within the group, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  2. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies across all business entities.
  3. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance on best practices, professional development, and performance management.
  4. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  5. Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion and implementation of audit recommendations.
  6. Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance accounting processes and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders, including senior management and shareholders.
  8. Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow across businesses, identifying potential liquidity issues and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risks.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in a multi-business environment.
  3. Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation laws.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  7. Leadership qualities with experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve organizational goals.
  8. Attention to Detail and accuracy in financial data management.

Experience Required:

  1. Minimum of 15+ years of experience in progressively responsible roles in accounting and finance.
  2. Prior experience in managing accounting functions for multiple businesses or business units of 50 Crores & above.
  3. Experience in a managerial role, demonstrating the ability to lead and develop a team is mandatory.
  4. Track record of successful financial management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  5. Experience in liaising with auditors, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
  6. Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices and standards.


CTC:

₹6 - 8 Lakhs pa. Compensation can be discussed for the right candidate.
