Senior Accountant

Our company is seeking a SeniorAccountant who will handle all our accounting operations and thefinancial activities of our company.

As a SeniorAccountant you should oversee the finance department and reportdirectly to the CFO. You should also provide assistance to theAccounting Manager with external and internal auditexaminations.

You will manage a team of JuniorAccountants and collaborate with them to create financial reportsand analyze forecasts.

• Prepareaccurate financial information with the help of inputs from thefinance team on time.
• Ensure the integrity ofaccounting information by verifying allocating posting and enteringtransactions.
• Prepare errorfree accountingreports and their results.
• Conduct accountreconciliation regularly on a monthly or quarterlybasis.
• Analyze the financial statements for anydiscrepancies and issues.
• Identify errors andtake actions for improvement.
• Analyze intercompany transactions bank statements and generateinvoices.
• Review accounting systems and makesuggestions for improvements.
• Managebookkeepers and other accountants.
• Assist inthe departments goalsetting process.
• Providesupport in the monthend and yearend closingprocess.
• Provide support in tax returns and taxaudit.
• Plan and assign duties to staffmembers.
• Manage and maintain generalledgers.
• Reconcile accounts payable andreceivable.
• Develop financial procedures toimprove efficiency.
• Prepare and summarize allthe transaction reports and financial status which includes abalance sheet profit & lossstatement.
• Present financial reports to highermanagement and Accountants.
• Stay up to dateknowledge of the latest businesstrends.

• Bachelorsdegree in Accounting Finance or relevantfield.
• 5 years of experience working as aSenior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor.
• ACertified Public Accountant (CPA) will bepreferred.
• Strong knowledge of accountingprinciples and procedures.
• Understanding ofaccounting software like Quickbooks Tally ERPetc.
• Proficient in MSExcel.
• Strong aptitude for quantitative skillsand numbers.
• Strong knowledge of non profit taxfiling and tax compliance pertaining to state and federal levelregulations.
• Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills.
• Ability to multitask andinternal controls.
• Excellent at analyzinginformation and interpret for otherdepartments.
• Ability to handle sensitive andconfidential data.
