As we continue to grow and are involved in multiple continuous improvements, we seek a Fresher or Less than 2 years experienced candidate to be part of the Operational Excellence Project Management Office (PMO).


Position Overview:

The Associate – Operational Excellence (Project Management Office-PMO) position will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, ensuring project delivery excellence, and supporting operational improvements across the organization. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-achiever and action-oriented performer who has the ability and demonstrate in interpreting the challenges, work with the key functional stakeholders to facilitate, orient the team to problem-solve, develop a solution framework, and implement them to bring change in the process and people to achieve desired results with the goal of achieving best-in-the-industry performance levels.


Work Location: Coimbatore (Relocation is required in case of outstation candidates) - Factory in Sulur


Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Coordinate and oversee multiple projects to ensure timely delivery, scope adherence, and budget compliance of successful project execution
  • Develop project plans, set milestones, and track progress through structured frameworks and tools, along with KPIs and timelines.
  • Act as the central point of communication for all project-related updates and escalations.
  • Escalate roadblocks and potential risks to top management through daily audits and sharing MIS/ Presentations

Operational Excellence:

  • Identify, prioritize, and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Apply Lean Tools, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to address inefficiencies in the production process.

·      Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and shopfloor studies

  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans to address inefficiencies.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, supply chain, and leadership, to align goals and ensure seamless execution.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build organizational capabilities in operational excellence.
  • Liaise with internal teams (production, quality, supply chain, etc.) and external consultants to align project objectives with business goals.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding project status and outcomes.

Change Management:

  • Drive change initiatives to improve organizational processes and ensure team buy-in through effective communication and leadership.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to build internal capabilities in lean and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Manage resistance to change and ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by engaging employees at all levels and bring individual accountability

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all projects, including charters, risk assessments, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Present regular status updates, provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.


Qualifications:

  • B.E/ B.Tech in Industrial/ Mechanical/ Production Engineering from Tier-1 or Tier-2 colleges
  • Fresher or 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing in reputed organizations (any sector)
  • Demonstrated projects/ results in OEE/ Quality/ Delivery/ Cost improvements/ Lean improvements
  • Good working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma and other methodologies/ tools and techniques
  • Passion for problem-solving, qualitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage projects, coordinate with large teams to get things done & knowledge of Project Management
  • Excellent written and presentation skills with good working knowledge of software like MS-PPT, MS-Excel, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented, motivated, self-starter
