Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Automation Engineer with expertise in Robot Framework and a focus on Radio Access Network (RAN) Core technologies to join our growing team.
  • As the Lead/Staff Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks specifically tailored for RAN Core testing, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our software testing processes.


Responsibilities:


Robot Framework Development:

  • Lead the design and development of scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using Robot Framework, with a specific focus on RAN Core technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand RAN Core testing requirements and implement effective automation strategies.

Python Programming:

  • Leverage your proficiency in Python programming to create efficient and effective automation scripts within the Robot Framework, addressing RAN Core testing needs.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in Python and Robot Framework development.

RAN Core Testing:

  • Develop and execute automated tests for RAN Core components, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliability.
  • Collaborate with RAN Core engineers to understand technical specifications and testing requirements.

Continuous Integration and Deployment:

  • Implement and maintain automated build and deployment processes using Robot Framework for RAN Core testing.
  • Integrate test automation into the continuous integration pipeline for efficient and timely feedback.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide technical leadership to the automation team focused on RAN Core testing, offering guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in the RAN Core automation domain.

Performance Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for performance optimization in RAN Core automation scripts and frameworks.
  • Implement best practices to enhance the speed and efficiency of automated test execution in the context of RAN Core technologies.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including RAN Core engineers, developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams.
  • Clearly communicate RAN Core automation progress, challenges, and results to stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an Automation Engineer with a focus on Robot Framework and RAN Core technologies.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Robot Framework for RAN Core testing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Python programming for extending Robot Framework capabilities in the context of RAN Core.
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies, particularly in the context of RAN Core technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
