We are looking for business development manager (s) who will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities in pharmaceutical formulation development, while nurturing relationships with existing clients. The manager will act as the primary contact for client inquiries, negotiations, and agreements, while also creating marketing materials to enhance brand visibility. Collaboration with marketing teams, R&D, regulatory, and manufacturing teams will ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction. What we ask and tasks
- Identify, secure, and develop new business opportunities by targeting pharmaceutical companies for formulation development services, while continuing to engage with existing clients to generate leads, achieve revenue targets, and foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with technical and finance teams to prepare tailored proposals, feasibility analyses, and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives while managing contracts and business negotiations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, proposals, agreements and negotiations.
- Develop marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, white papers, and case studies to effectively showcase organizational capabilities and enhance brand visibility through a comprehensive communication strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to manage online and offline campaigns, social media presence, and content distribution, while attending conferences and exhibitions to engage with potential clients and understand their needs.
- Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless project execution, acting as a liaison to align client expectations with internal deliverables and resolving conflicts to ensure client satisfaction.
- Keep detailed records of business development activities, client interactions, pipeline opportunities, and project updates in the portal, ensuring CRM systems are regularly updated with clear and accurate reports
- Striving for excellence in everything you do
- Education qualification: M. Pharm. preferably with MBA
- 8-10 years of experience global business development role in services industry. Experience in business development of formulation development services is preferred
