Position Summary:

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating, managing, and growing the company’s presence across social media platforms. This role involves developing creative content, engaging with the online community, and driving brand awareness through strategic social media campaigns. A key aspect of this role will be shooting and ideating content for reels, ensuring our brand remains relevant and engaging across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop, create, and publish high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube).
  • Reels Production: Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and produce reels and short-form video content that align with the brand's tone and message.
  • Content Ideation: Collaborate with the creative team to generate fresh and innovative ideas for reels, stories, and other social media content.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers and online communities to foster a strong relationship with the audience.
  • Analytics: Track and analyze social media performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or native platform analytics to inform content strategy.
  • Trends & Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the digital space.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and video production teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital channels.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on social media performance, including insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Brand Voice: Maintain and enhance the company’s brand voice and identity across all social media platforms.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with other digital marketing tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube), and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva).
  • Content Creation: Strong experience in shooting, editing, and producing reels and short-form videos.
  • Creativity: A strong creative flair with an eye for visual aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze social media metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with paid social media advertising campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content optimization for social media.
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
