As a Java Technical Lead at Toucan Payments, you will be responsible for leading software development initiatives, designing and implementing solutions with a focus on scalability and performance. Your duties will include managing teams, developing, supporting enterprise-grade applications using Java, creating micro services architectures, and ensuring adherence to design patterns and best practices. You will also be responsible for code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables.QualificationsStrong expertise in Software Development, Programming, and Java-based technologiesProficiency in Java spring boot frameworkExperience designing and implementing Microservices architecturesKnowledge of Design Patterns and their application in creating efficient and scalable systemsExcellent problem-solving skills and leadership abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsBachelor’s degree or MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldPrior experience in a leadership role with a track record of managing development teams successfullyUnderstanding of fintech or payment processing technologies
