You can expect:A Passion for Engineering & DesignChallenges in Research and Finding Innovative SolutionsAn Open Working Environment Thriving on Horizontal CollaborationResponsibilities of Embedded Systems Engineer Embedded Hardware: Assessing and Selecting components (MCU, electric, electronic, connectors)Designing embedded systems architecture including I/Os, Power Delivery, PCB layoutsDevelop custom PCBs and coordinate with vendorsUsing calculations and simulations to design analog and digital circuitsUphold hardware design standards and methodologies with focus on safety and design for regulatory compliancePrototype and test embedded systemsSupport system integration, debugging and maintenance Embedded SoftwareDesigning Embedded software architectureDevelop firmware, device drivers and software in accordance with coding standardsDebug, optimize, test and deploy system softwareEnsure quality of software and regulatory compliance as per requirementsDesign and development of UICreate and maintain design and testing documentation Skills Proven experience in embedded systems developmentVery good knowledge of analog and digital circuit developmentAdequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for componentsExperience with schematic design, PCB layouts, simulation softwareExperience of working with different hardware targets (NI, TI, ARM-based etc.)Experience with designing to EMC/EMI/ESD and safety regulatory certificationsExperience with hardware testing equipmentSolid programming experience in C and PythonExperience with embedded Linux and RTOSStrong knowledge and programming experience of interfaces, IP protocols, and hardware subsystemsExperience in debugging and using debugging toolsUnderstanding of design, coding, and regulatory standardsExperience with system integration and SIL, HIL testingGeneral Characteristics which can be valuable are:Passionate about Engineering and embedded systemsStrong Communication and Technical Writing SkillsExceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsProject and team leadershipAppetite to learn and explore Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology or a comparable degree
