Senior – Financial Services TaxLocation: Mumbai / Bangalore / HyderabadEmployment Type: Full-timeExperience: 3+ yearsRole OverviewWe are seeking a Senior professional to join a Financial Services Tax practice. This role is suited for individuals who thrive in growing environments, work well with global teams, and are driven to deliver high-quality tax services to financial services clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a full range of partnership tax services for financial services clients in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Build and maintain client relationships by providing tax planning, consulting, and subject-matter expertise.Review and prepare complex U.S. partnership tax returns (Form 1065) for:Hedge FundsPrivate Equity FundsVenture Capital FundsFund of Funds and similar structuresReview and manage tax returns and supporting workpapers in accordance with U.S. tax compliance requirements, including:Form 1065 and Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3State and Local Tax (SALT) compliancesInternational tax filing compliancesParticipate in all phases of tax engagements, including planning, projections, review, and finalization.Identify tax issues and propose practical solutions.Work directly with clients and global counterparts using technology-enabled collaboration tools.Gain exposure to complex tax issues affecting U.S. and global investment entities.Manage, train, and develop junior staff; participate in performance reviews.Contribute to process improvements and technology initiatives within the tax function.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in U.S. and/or global taxation.Strong understanding of partnership taxation and financial services industry structures.Preferred QualificationsCPA, CA, or Enrolled Agent qualification (preferred).Experience working with financial services clients (Hedge Funds, PE, VC).Experience working directly with clients and/or global teams.Work EnvironmentHybrid work model supporting work-life balance.Collaborative team-oriented environment.Opportunity for continuous learning and professional development.
