Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior professional to join a Financial Services Tax practice. This role is suited for individuals who thrive in growing environments, work well with global teams, and are driven to deliver high-quality tax services to financial services clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a full range of partnership tax services for financial services clients in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain client relationships by providing tax planning, consulting, and subject-matter expertise.
  • Review and prepare complex U.S. partnership tax returns (Form 1065) for:
  • Hedge Funds
  • Private Equity Funds
  • Venture Capital Funds
  • Fund of Funds and similar structures
  • Review and manage tax returns and supporting workpapers in accordance with U.S. tax compliance requirements, including:
  • Form 1065 and Schedules K-1, K-2, K-3
  • State and Local Tax (SALT) compliances
  • International tax filing compliances
  • Participate in all phases of tax engagements, including planning, projections, review, and finalization.
  • Identify tax issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Work directly with clients and global counterparts using technology-enabled collaboration tools.
  • Gain exposure to complex tax issues affecting U.S. and global investment entities.
  • Manage, train, and develop junior staff; participate in performance reviews.
  • Contribute to process improvements and technology initiatives within the tax function.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in U.S. and/or global taxation.
  • Strong understanding of partnership taxation and financial services industry structures.


Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CA, or Enrolled Agent qualification (preferred).
  • Experience working with financial services clients (Hedge Funds, PE, VC).
  • Experience working directly with clients and/or global teams.
