Job Description:

As an IoT Tester, you will be responsible for leading testing activities in the IoT domain, particularly focusing on Over-the-Air (OTA), Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA), device management, and benches related testing. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in the automotive domain, excluding infotainment testing.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong technical understanding of IoT.
  • Experience in embedded and landed technologies projects within the manufacturing field, especially connected services or the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA and Confluence, and validation processes.
  • Functional experience in Device Management (DM) and OTA is advantageous.
  • Experience working with onshore/offshore models and inventory management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write end-to-end (E2E) functional test cases across multiple user stories.
  • Engage with customers to understand and manage their expectations.
  • Validate tests on connected car simulators.
  • Exhibit proactiveness and possess strong analytical skills to thrive in a challenging environment.
  • Review and verify deliverables from all team members.
  • Create functional qualification plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Write and execute real-time (RT), non-real-time (NRT), operational, and integration tests.
  • Prepare and update test configurations based on installation processes.
  • Execute tests using monitoring tools and coordinate testing and anomaly reporting.
  • Document test cases and update Confluence pages regularly.
  • Hold an engineering or technician degree related to software development, telecommunications, or engineering.
  • Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in software testing.
  • Demonstrate experience in managing complex multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Effectively manage aggressive customer expectations.
