Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Information Technology Recruiter at Venture Consultancy Services. The IT Recruiter will be responsible for full-lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process. The IT Recruiter will focus on technical recruiting and play a key role in finding top talent to support our software development projects.
At Venture Consultancy Services (VCS) , people are the most vital resource. We are on the lookout for skilled IT recruiters, who will help us find the person for an IT-specific job. The ideal IT recruiter candidate will have experience in recruiting specifically for the IT industry and is skilled in screening, talent acquisition, interviewing, and employee onboarding. We are in the pursuit of finding an IT recruiter who is ready to discover untapped talent and drive overall organisational growth while keeping in mind the booming global IT sector. And most importantly, enable people to develop successful careers in the field of IT.
Objectives of the role
- Oversee the full recruiting lifecycle as an IT technical recruiter
- Foster and strengthen relationships with prospective candidates, who are specialised in IT job profiles, to fill existing vacant roles in the company
- Implement IT headhunting strategies, keeping in mind the latest industry trends as an effective IT talent acquisition consultant
- Generate new leads and devise innovative strategies to identify IT talent that suit the technical requirements of the company
Responsibilities
- Ensure the end-to-end lifecycle of IT recruitment, which includes sourcing, screening, and conducting interviews
- Execute strategic global hiring programs as an IT talent recruiter keeping in mind international Information Technology trends
- Manage the IT talent hub through job boards and procure the right talent for the company by screening resumes and managing the database
- Design and implement job descriptions and engage with potential candidates on social media platforms
Required skills and qualifications
- Previous work experience as an IT recruiter, or a similar role in the field of recruitment
- Strong technical expertise with the skillset to comprehend and communicate job requirements in the IT sector
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, along with a flair for networking
- Experience in working with computerised HR IT recruiter software and job boards
- Ability to be self-driven and work in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in IT recruiting or related fields
- Strong understanding of the technical side of an IT recruiter role
- Proficiency in English and the know-how to tap into the IT talent hub
- Full-life Cycle Recruiting and Technical Recruiting
- IT Recruitment and Hiring experience
- Min. 2 years Experience in the recruiting field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet hiring targets
- Knowledge of software development and IT industry
