Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and track solar project tenders from various sources (government, private sector).
  • Analyze tender documents and understand project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, finance, legal) to gather necessary information and documents for tender submissions.
  • Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including technical, commercial, and financial components.
  • Ensure all bids are compliant with tender requirements and company standards.
  • Develop and manage timelines to ensure timely submission of tenders.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and estimation for solar projects.
  • Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness and competitiveness of bids.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and clarify tender requirements.
  • Conduct pre-bid meetings and site visits as necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the tendering process.
  • Develop bidding strategies to increase the chances of winning tenders.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor bids to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on tender status and bid outcomes.
  • Ensure all tender documents are accurately prepared, stored, and easily accessible.
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to tender submissions.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tendering or project management within the solar industry.
  • Strong understanding of the solar energy market, particularly in Gujarat.
  • Proven experience in preparing and winning tenders for large-scale solar projects.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and cost estimation skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and tender management software.
