About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Group Head – Copy to lead and elevate the creative output of our agency. The ideal candidate is a master storyteller with a strong conceptual mind, proven leadership abilities, and the passion to mentor a team of copywriters while pushing the boundaries of creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor the copy team to deliver high-quality, engaging, and innovative ideas aligned with brand objectives.
  • Partner with the Creative Director and Art team to conceptualize and execute integrated campaigns.
  • Oversee copy across multiple brands and categories, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging.
  • Provide strategic input during briefing stages and translate briefs into compelling narratives.
  • Review, refine, and elevate copy to meet the highest creative and brand standards.
  • Build and nurture a strong creative culture by guiding and developing copywriters.
  • Collaborate with design, strategy, and account teams to deliver effective, on-brief solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, digital innovations, and cultural movements to keep the work relevant and fresh.
  • Represent the agency in client meetings, confidently presenting and selling creative ideas.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in advertising/creative agencies with a strong, diverse portfolio.
  • Excellent command of language, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit brand needs.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and teams effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Passion for storytelling, creativity, and innovation, with a drive to push creative boundaries.
