To partner with us in this exciting journey and unlock new values for the business, we are looking for passionate professionals in the position of Switchyard In-charge, CPP - Vedanta Jharsuguda.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Responsible for providing Uninterrupted Power to Smelter
  • Protection system of Transmission and distribution line, Bay control units, Synchronization system
  • Transformer Maintenance and testing for minimum 160 MVA Capacity
  • Responsible for NARI/Chinese SCADA system or IEC 61850 architecture
  • Maintenance of EHT lines and Breakers with both Hydraulic and Pneumatic
  • Preparing documents and on field execution for Statutory and Legal requirements
  • Dealing with State Grid and other Government bodies for approvals at regular intervals
  • Spare Planning, preparing budget, planning for execution of improvement projects


Educational Qualifications and Experience


  • BE/B.Tech (Electrical)
  • Minimum 10 Years of Experience with minimum 220 KV switchyard and Protection System
  • Should have knowledge and worked with Load Management System like CILMS of ABB or other single handed
  • Knowledge of IE rules and its implementation at site accordingly
