  • Windows Server administration (for .NET hosting)
  • Linux administration (for Java hosting)

  • SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL basics
  • Backup/restore, connection pooling, tuning
  1. Deployment & Configuration Management
  2. Monitoring & Performance Management
  • Tools
  • Log analysis and troubleshooting
  • JVM & CLR performance tuning
  1. Security & Compliance
  • SSL/TLS certificate management
  • Application firewall (WAF) concepts
  • Patching and vulnerability management
  • Access control and least privilege enforcement
  1. Networking & Load Balancing
  • Load balancing strategies for web apps


Administrative & Soft Skills

  1. Incident & Problem Management
  • Root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Handling outages and escalations
  1. Release & Change Management
  • Coordinating deployments with Dev/QA teams
