Charles Technologies is an innovative startup based in Chennai, dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver exceptional solutions. We are seeking a seasoned General Manager of Technology Operations to join our dynamic team and lead our technology initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Education: MBA from a reputed university or college, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in technology operations, with at least 6 years in a leadership role, managing teams of 50+ members.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of software development, IT infrastructure, and data management.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services, particularly Azure.
  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and their implications on data collection and storage.


Responsibilities

  • Manage budgets for technology projects and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee the technology operations of the company, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement technology strategies that align with business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the company’s technology infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance and training to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices to drive the company’s technological advancements.
