Job Title: Business Operations (BizOps) Analyst - ExportsDepartment: BizopsLocation: BangaloreRole PurposeThe BizOps Analyst will be the analytical bridge between operations, finance, andbusiness leadership in the export division. The role entails driving data-backed decisions,enhancing operational visibility, improving turnaround times (TAT), and maximizing exportprofitability through precision analytics and process optimization.Key Responsibilities 1) Data Analytics & ReportingAutomate dashboards (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to monitor shipmentperformance, losses, and approvals. Ensure data accuracy across MISand trackers. 2) Business Process OptimizationIdentify inefficiencies, build logic-based analytics tools, andrecommend process improvements across export documentation andfinance. 3) Financial & Margin AnalysisConduct margin reconciliations, track forex, and simulate pricingmodels (FOB, CIF, DDP) for multiple geographies. 4) Operational CoordinationCoordinate with export, logistics, finance, and vendor teams for dataintegrity and process adherence. 5) Forecasting & Diagnostic AnalyticsApply mathematical and logical reasoning for demand forecasting,bottleneck prediction, and cost utilization planning. 6) SOP Management & GovernanceDevelop and maintain process documentation, SLAs, and auditdashboards. 7) Strategic ProjectsLead analytics-driven initiatives for margin optimization, automation,and BPR (Business Process Re-engineering). Skills & Competencies Advanced Excel (Pivot, Power Query, VBA, Macros) Tableau / Power BI for real-time dashboards Quantitative reasoning & strong logical problem-solving Understanding of export documentation, TAT management, and compliance Exposure to tools like Tridge, ICEGATE, and related trade/Exim software is a strongplus (++) Analytical storytelling with attention to business impact Stakeholder collaboration across export finance, logistics, and ops Excellent numerical accuracy and detail orientationEducational Background & Experience Degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Business Management(Finance/Operations) Experience: 2–6 years in business analytics, exports support, MIS, or processexcellence Certifications (Preferred): Advanced Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SQL, or Lean SixSigmaCore Competencies Logical thinking, quantitative modeling & decision analysis Business acumen in exports and supply-chain cycles Process discipline and stakeholder communication Initiative-taking and independent ownership of data-driven solutionsKPIs & Success Metrics Accuracy and turnaround time of analytical reports Efficiency gain from process automation Reduction in export cycle delays and margin slippages Adoption of analytics dashboards across functions Compliance and documentation accuracy
