Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Computer Vision Engineer with 2-5 years of hands-on experience. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of our engineering team, focusing on developing, implementing, and optimizing computer vision algorithms that drive our security solutions. You’ll work closely with our senior engineers and data scientists to build models and systems that meet the challenges of real-time, high-accuracy video processing in retail environments.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for object detection, tracking, action recognition, and scene analysis to ensure high performance in real-time retail settings.

• Design and enhance video processing pipelines and work on deployment to edge devices for high efficiency and accuracy.

• Conduct experiments to validate model performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring models are accurate, reliable, and capable of processing data in real-time.

• Collaborate on data preparation and preprocessing, ensuring data quality and enhancing model training processes.

• Stay current with advancements in computer vision and AI to continuously improve and innovate on our product offerings.

• Document code, model performance, and technical findings, ensuring knowledge sharing and smooth project continuity.


Requirements:


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 2-5 years of experience with computer vision and machine learning, including experience with frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python and C++, with strong algorithm development and data manipulation skills.

• Solid understanding of deep learning techniques and architectures for object detection, classification, and scene understanding.

• Experience with model evaluation techniques and metrics (e.g., precision, recall, and F1 score).

• Ability to work with large datasets, perform data preprocessing, and maintain quality.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


• Experience deploying real-time computer vision models on edge devices.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and experience deploying models in production environments.

• Knowledge of data annotation, labeling tools, and experience with version control (Git).

• Experience with agile development methodologies.
