Position Overview
As the Business Head for APAC, you will be responsible for driving business development initiatives, establishing strategic partnerships, and accelerating revenue growth in the region. You will lead a team and own the P&L for the region, define market strategies, and ensure operational excellence to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the APAC market, aligning with Nexverse.ai's overall goals and objectives.
- Business Development: Lead efforts to identify, initiate, and negotiate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including publishers, advertisers, and technology partners.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by expanding market share, optimising pricing strategies, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to achieve targets and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness across all functions, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support.
- Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics to capitalise on emerging opportunities and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or a related leadership role within the digital advertising or technology industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem and digital media landscape, particularly within the APAC market.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving business growth in dynamic and competitive environments.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies, leveraging market insights and data-driven decision-making.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
