We’re on a mission to grow our D2C presence, expand across marketplaces, and deliver delightful experiences at every touchpoint. We’re looking for a Growth / Marketplace Lead who can own numbers, drive execution, and scale our business with precision and speed.
Role Overview:
As a Growth Lead, you will take complete ownership of sales and growth targets across multiple channels — Shopify, marketplaces, and partnerships. You will be the driving force behind revenue, visibility, and business experiments, working closely with marketing, operations, design, finance, and external vendors. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring data-driven decision-making, quick execution, and a relentless ownership mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Target Ownership & Performance Management
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales growth targets (50–100% scale-ups).
- Track daily and weekly performance; identify gaps early and implement corrective measures.
- Provide clear updates and visibility to founders/leads on growth progress.
- Take accountability for results and ensure corrective actions are executed immediately.
2. Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analyze sales, pricing, inventory movement, and campaign performance.
- Use insights to optimize discounts, promotions, and marketing spends.
- Build and maintain dashboards for performance tracking and accountability.
- Forecast revenue, track KPIs, and run advanced analysis (Excel/SQL).
3. Growth & Marketplace Strategy
- Drive marketplace growth initiatives including ads, placements, and merchandising.
- Explore and unlock new growth channels — marketplaces, partnerships, collaborations.
- Negotiate discounts, rebates, and commercial terms with partners and vendors.
- Experiment design: test new approaches, monitor results, and implement learnings.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with marketing, ops, design, and finance to ensure timely execution of growth plans.
- Manage external POCs and vendor relationships to maximize marketplace visibility and performance.
- Ensure smooth hand-offs, clarity, and alignment across all functions.
5. Leadership & Execution Excellence
- Set ambitious goals, prioritize initiatives, and delegate effectively.
- Make high-quality, quick decisions under pressure.
- Inspire and motivate teams with clear direction, accountability, and results-driven culture.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Knowledge:
- 3–6 years in D2C growth, marketplace management, or e-commerce sales leadership.
- Deep understanding of Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplace operations.
- Growth strategy expertise — acquisition, activation, retention, and funnel optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel/SQL experience.
- P&L awareness and revenue modeling experience.
- Proven negotiation skills with partners and vendors.
- Experience designing and running experiments, rapid testing, and scaling successful initiatives.
