We are looking for a Solution Architect – Lifecycle Services to join our Customer Service Design (CSD) function, playing a critical role in shaping Computacenter's Managed Services business.

The Customer Service Design (CSD) team architects market-leading service solutions across our core capabilities in Lifecycle, Workplace, and Enterprise. Our Service Architecture team specializes in designing detailed service models, commercial constructs, and operational frameworks to meet customer needs. With a presence across India, the UK, and Europe, we bring deep expertise and a wide range of skills to deliver exceptional managed services.

As a Solution Architect – Lifecycle Services, you will play a pivotal role in growing Computacenter's Managed Services business and driving continual improvement in how we design innovative, scalable, and cost-effective IT services that enable our customers to change the world.

What You Will Do:

Solution Design and Architecture

  • Develop creative and scalable solutions for large-scale, high-risk managed services tenders in the Lifecycle and Workplace domains.
  • Architect comprehensive IT service models that cover Device Lifecycle Management (DLM), Zero Touch Deployment (ZTD), asset management, and ITSM integration.
  • Design infrastructure, technology stacks, and operational models for Future Mode of Operations (FMO).

Presales and Customer Engagement

  • Provide expert advisory support within your specialist area to both peers and customers.
  • Work closely with sales teams to shape proposals, present solutions, and support contract negotiations.
  • Assess and understand customer requirements, business challenges, and transformation opportunities.

Service and Cost Modeling

  • Define operational requirements such as headcounts, skill levels, and service locations to support optimized managed service models.
  • Develop cost models and commercial strategies for lifecycle services, ensuring competitive pricing and financial viability.
  • Ensure that solutions integrate seamlessly with automation, self-service tools, and tech box deployments.

Continuous Improvement and Market Analysis

  • Keep up with market trends and competitor offerings to maintain a leading-edge service design approach.
  • Drive innovation by identifying new technologies, automation strategies, and process enhancements.

What You Will Need

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 10-16 years of experience in IT, with at least 8 years in workplace/lifecycle managed services.
  • Proven track record of designing fully compliant solutions and contracting complex IT outsourcing services.
  • Strong IT infrastructure background, with experience integrating workplace solutions, end-user computing, and automation.
  • Experience with Zero Touch Deployment (ZTD), self-service IT models (Tech Centers, Locker Machines), and asset management.
  • Expertise in service pricing, financial modeling, and calculating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • Deep knowledge of ITIL processes, ITSM best practices, and enterprise IT operations.
  • Ability to negotiate with stakeholders to achieve commercially viable service models.
  • Strong client relationship management and presales experience, with the ability to present solutions and respond to RFPs.
  • Understanding of strategic IT service transformation and business impact assessment.
