Juniper Green Energy, based out of Delhi NCR, commenced operations in October 2018. The business has experienced rapid growth, and it presently has an operational portfolio of about 1GW with an under-construction capacity of 2 GW and a development pipeline of close to 5 GW of solar, wind and hybrid projects. The company has end-to-end internal competencies in EPC and O&M services for its renewable projects.



Job Summary:


This is a position in Business Development function where candidate will be responsible for taking care of regulatory and policy affairs aligned with business plan.



Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Understanding of policy and regulatory aspects related to utility scale, C&I, power market, project development and implementation.
  • Tracking policy and regulatory development in the RE Sector in India.
  • Analysis and submission of comments on CERC/CEA/SERC regulations, procedure and concept note.
  • Support in filing of petitions, tracking SERC, CERC, APTEL orders and collaboration with internal and external legal counsel.
  • Preparation and submission of applications for RE project construction approvals, Grid Connection approvals and coordination with relevant agencies.
  • Interact with various agencies including CERC, MNRE, CTU, CEA, MoP, State Nodal agencies, STUs, SERC, and industry associations (WIPPA, SPDA, NSEFI etc).
  • Collaboration:
  • Coordination with cross functional departments to help deliver the project execution including incorporation of cross functional inputs from Engineering, Projects, Land, Approvals and exploring ways to optimize the projects.




Qualifications and Skills:


  • BE /B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical/ Civil AND/OR MBA
  • Renewable Energy Regulatory Experience 5-10 years
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
