Job Title: Lead Python Developer

About Us:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Python Developer to join our dynamic team and lead our Python development efforts.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of Python developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient Python applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance on best practices and code reviews.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and integrations to support our applications.



Python:

  1. Secure Data Exchange: Proficiency in implementing token-based authentication and handling JSON data for secure and efficient communication between systems
  2. Flask: Demonstrates expertise in Flask. Capable of designing and implementing scalable APIs, handling HTTP requests, and integrating with databases. Proficient in routing, authentication, and middleware implementation for robust web applications.
  3. Python Rest APIs & API security: Understanding of Building APIs and Securing them
  4. Python core fundamentals: List, dictonary, tuple, modules and packages
  5. Knowledge of Python Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, Fast API (optional)
  6. Python Data Analysis Proficiency: Demonstrates adeptness in utilizing Python libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Pandas, and NumPy for effective data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  7. Object oriented Python: Classes, Inheritance, Composition, Getters and Setters etc.
  8. Generators and Comprehensions: Generators and yield, Nested comprehensions, Timeit module etc.


API:

  1. API development: abilities in creating and handling APIs, effectively employing REST or other methodologies for web services
  2. Restful API: Candidate should have knowledge of designing and implementing RESTful APIs for seamless communication between different systems.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
  • Expertise in Python programming with a strong understanding of Python best practices and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong design skills and experience in building scalable and maintainable software solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience mentoring and coaching junior developers.
  • Experience developing and consuming APIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
