Data Architect (Snowflake)


Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of data architecture on the Snowflake cloud data platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud computing, and advanced data solutions, with a proven track record of implementing Snowflake for large-scale data projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture: Design and implement scalable data architecture and solutions using the Snowflake platform, tailored to business requirements.
  • Data Integration: Oversee data pipelines and integration processes, including ETL/ELT workflows, data ingestion, and transformation.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of Snowflake deployments through optimization strategies like clustering and partitioning.
  • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, including data scientists, analysts, and engineers, to understand requirements and align Snowflake solutions with business objectives.
  • Security and Governance: Implement robust data security and governance practices in Snowflake, including role-based access, data masking, and auditing.
  • Cloud Integration: Collaborate on integrating Snowflake with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and related services such as Lambda, S3, or BigQuery.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices guidance to data engineering teams.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in data architecture, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in Snowflake-specific features like Virtual Warehouses, Snowpipe, Data Sharing, and Time Travel.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Matillion, or Talend.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Tools and Frameworks: Hands-on experience with tools like DBT (Data Build Tool), Python, or Spark is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and stakeholder management.

  • Work time: 2-11pm
  • Work mode: Hybrid (2-3 Days work from office)
  • Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Pune.
  • Notice period: 0-30 Days.
