Genesys Cloud Developer


Role:

We are looking for a talented Genesys Cloud Developer who will assist in day-to-day development and maintenance of our Genesys Cloud CX solution.


The role involves developing robust CI/CD pipelines, which leverages Genesys CX as Code (DevOps/Configuration Management Tool) that is underpinned by Terraform.


Overview of the team:

Computacenter are currently working on an exciting new transformation to move our on-premises contact center platform (Avaya) to the Genesys Cloud CX. The transformation project will involve re-architecting all our existing services along with enabling new capabilities that Genesys Cloud CX has to offer.


GSD Systems deliver and support the contact center technology that underpins Computacenter’s Global Service Desk (GSD).


Providing a multi-contact solution (voice, email, web messaging, universal messaging and Chabot) that offers 99.99% availability to support Computacenter service desk locations across the globe that are utilized by 4,000+ agents.


Other services which we provide to GSD Business include voice recording, quality management, workforce management, translate services and custom reporting.


GSD Systems Team is divided into three sub teams, which consist of Operations, Projects, and Design. This role sits within the Design Team, and you will report directly to the Design Manager working alongside a team of consultants and developers.


Responsibilities:

  • up of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Terraform.
  • focused tasks related to provisioning, deploying configuration and resources to a targeted environment using Terraform.
  • maintain and provision any new Genesys Cloud objects using CX as Code across multiple Genesys Cloud organizations.
  • strict change control and adhere to release process when deploying updates or new configuration within Genesys Cloud.
  • document, optimize processes, automate, improve the reliability and repeatability of our deployments.
  • configuration using Genesys blueprints designs via Terraform Cloud scripts and assist in migrations activities from Avaya to Genesys Cloud.







Essential Skills

  • understanding and a proven track record of using Terraform and GitHub – Key requirement.
  • 5 years experiencing developing Genesys Cloud CX solutions.
  • control expertise (we use GitHub)
  • as code (we use Terraform)
  • understanding and experience of implementing CI/CD pipelines using contemporary tooling for version control, automation, and configuration management.
  • experience building and maintaining a Genesys platform via Genesys CX as a Code
  • knowledge of Genesys Application Development and utilizing REST based APIs
  • troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • time management and prioritization
  • communication, both written and verbal
  • to rapidly changing situations and dynamic environments


Desirable Skills:

  • and GitHub Certified
  • Certified e.g. Professional, Architect or Developer
  • in Automation
  • with Cloud Platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • with Agile / Scrum methodology
