Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Compliance and Regulatory Manager to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring that Natoe AI adheres to all relevant U.S. laws and regulations within the AI and healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will combine legal knowledge, technical insight, and strategic acumen to navigate the complex regulatory landscape, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier radiology services.


Key Responsibilities


Regulatory Compliance:

  • Monitor and Interpret Regulations: Stay informed about U.S. federal and state regulations affecting AI and healthcare technology.
  • Policy Development: Create and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and standards.
  • Compliance Audits: Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Data Privacy and Security:
  • Data Protection: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as HIPAA and CCPA.
  • Data Handling: Oversee data handling practices, conduct privacy impact assessments, and manage responses to data breaches if they occur.


Technical Compliance:

  • Collaboration with Teams: Partner with engineering and product development teams to ensure technical implementations meet regulatory standards.
  • Integration of Controls: Assist in embedding compliance-related technical controls within the product development lifecycle.


Training and Awareness:

  • Employee Education: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about compliance policies and best practices.
  • Culture Building: Promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior throughout the organization.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, audits, and regulatory submissions.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of compliance initiatives and potential risks.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in compliance and regulatory affairs.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously improve compliance processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CISSP, CCEP) are advantageous but not required.


Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related role within the technology or healthcare sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience with U.S. regulations and managing compliance within the American market.


Skills:

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI technologies and their regulatory implications in the healthcare industry.
  • Data Privacy Expertise: Proficient knowledge of data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA) and information security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address compliance challenges proactively.

  • Adaptable: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with U.S. regulatory bodies such as the FDA, HHS, or FTC.
  • Familiarity with AI ethics and responsible AI frameworks.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and radiology services.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially in languages relevant to our diverse team and clientele.
