Behavioral and Skill Trainer

Looking for a passionate and experienced Behavioral and Skill Trainer to develop and elevate the capabilities of Xiaomi promoters across India. The trainer will focus on enhancing both soft skills and technical proficiencies to improve customer interactions, increase sales, and nurture talent within the team. The role involves identifying and addressing areas for improvement among low performing promoters, while grooming high-potential promoters to excel.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Design and Delivery: o Develop and deliver training programs focused on behavioral skills, sales techniques, customer handling, and objection handling. o Customize training sessions for promoters based on their performance levels (e.g., low potential vs. high potential). o Conduct grooming and presentation skills training to ensure promoters align with Xiaomi’s brand standards. 2. Promoter Development: o Identify key areas of improvement for promoters through regular assessments and feedback. o Work with store and regional managers to support low-performing promoters through targeted development plans. o Recognize and mentor high-performing promoters, helping them to unlock their full potential.
  • Customer Engagement: o Train promoters on effective customer handling techniques, focusing on understanding customer needs, building rapport, and delivering exceptional experiences. o Provide advanced objection-handling techniques to ensure promoters can manage difficult customer interactions effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring & Feedback: o Continuously monitor the effectiveness of training by evaluating promoter performance metrics post-training. o Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to help promoters improve. o Report progress to management, suggesting refinements to training programs as needed.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: o Collaborate with different teams to ensure alignment on training needs and to integrate product-specific knowledge. o Regularly interact with sales team to assess training outcomes and gather input for further development.


Key Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of experience as a behavioral or sales trainer, preferably from a banking / hospitality background.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor large, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer service standards, and promoter management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a motivating and engaging learning environment.
  • Experience with designing and delivering virtual and in-person training.
  • CLPD certification or any other Training Certification on Behavioral & Sales Training will add value.
