Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Product Officer - Cyber Security. The Chief Product Officer - Cyber Security will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of TAC Security's Cyber Security product portfolio. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities, conducting market research, and developing product strategies. The Chief Product Officer will also lead the product management team and work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and market penetration.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:
  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's vision and business objectives.
  • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Create a roadmap for product development and innovation, ensuring alignment with market trends and emerging technologies.
  1. Product Development and Execution:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute product development initiatives, from concept to launch.
  • Drive the agile development process, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, soliciting feedback and insights to continuously improve product offerings.
  1. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, market trends, and competitive threats.
  • Monitor competitor products and strategies, providing insights to inform product differentiation and positioning.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership, including the CEO and CTO, to align product strategy with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to gather feedback and drive product innovation.
  1. Product Performance and Success Metrics:
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of product initiatives.
  • Analyze product performance data and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and experimentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 years in product management or related roles, with a track record of successfully launching and managing innovative products.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and market dynamics, with experience in the cybersecurity industry preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving product innovation and growth.
