WHY THE ROLE EXISTSTo deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting, ensuring the integrity of core accounting processeswhile supporting the business through its next phase of growth. The accountant plays a critical role in maintainingrobust financial controls, supporting audit and tax compliance, and driving automation and scalability throughsystems and process improvements.WHAT THE ROLE DOESPrepare and post all accounting transactions, including intercompany transactions.Month end reporting.Balance sheet reviews and reconciliationsPrepare audit schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents for statutory and tax audits.Preparation of tax returns, complete working knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, advance tax, etc)Knowledge of local filings like STPI/Non STPI Assist with systems implementation to ensure ability to scale seamlesslyMaintaining third party relationships, e.g. vendors, clients, professional service providers, auditors, etc.Must have experience working with Netsuite, MS Excel.Analysis and provision of key information to managementPursue AI-driven process improvementsHandle ad hoc requests from leadership as needed.QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Must be a Qualified CA.4-7 years of progressive accounting and Finance experience.Working knowledge of Indian GAAP and familiarity with local statutory requirements.Adaptable, accountable, and eager to grow with a fast paced, global environment
