Role SummaryThe Financial Accountant is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager, ensuring a smooth delivery of financial results and clean transactional finance accounts.Duties include assisting in delivering monthly management accounts, balance sheet reporting and cashflow forecasting, supporting the statutory audit and accounts, indirect and direct tax analysis as well as ensuring the transactional finance is completed accurately.This role will also act as a backup and support for the Indian finance manager.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Monthly posting and reporting – P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Analytical reviewCompleting indirect tax returnsCashflow forecastingSupporting with transactional financeCompleting year-end processesProactively involved in the audit processInvolvement in process improvementsEnsuring accounting standards are in place and followedOther ad hoc duties as requestedDesired Skills:Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbersProficiency in various computer software, such as MS Word, MS Excel and other financial management software – ERP Systems would be an advantage preferably MS Dynamics.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsGood problem-solving skills and the ability to strategise and devise solutionsHonesty and integrityRequired Experience:Finance Accountant must have:2-4 years of experience in a Finance position.Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business management, business administration or a related field.Must be familiar with UK accounting rulesMust be familiar with government laws and regulations, court procedures and democratic political processes.Benefits:Competitive Salary dependant on experienceAnnual Bonus structureEmployer Pension ContributionDeath in service 4x annual salary25 days holiday + bank hols
