Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior LLM Engineer who will be responsible for developing and optimizing large language models tailored to our company's specific needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques, along with strong programming skills. As a Senior LLM Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy state-of-the-art language models that power various applications and products.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and optimization of large language models to meet specific business requirements.
  • Conduct research and experiments to improve the performance and efficiency of language models.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to identify use cases and develop solutions.
  • Design and implement algorithms and models for natural language understanding, generation, and processing.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance model capabilities.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in NLP, machine learning, and related fields.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth and development.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and present findings.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in developing and deploying large language models, preferably in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Strong understanding of NLP techniques, including text preprocessing, tokenization, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, etc.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and distributed computing environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Publications or contributions to the NLP/Machine Learning community are highly desirable.
